Last week we told you about GI Joe 2: Retaliation being delayed until March 2013 for what was described as a conversion to 3D to allow for a bigger over seas box office that apparently eats that stuff up. But according to Deadline.com, who originally broke the story, there may be more to it than that. Apparently, producers are also taking into consideration now that killing off Channing Tatum in the beginning of the film may have been a bad idea. The crew is apparently going back for re-shoots to allow Tatum to have a bigger role in the film since he has become such a big box office draw in the past year or so. Whether or not that means his character Duke won’t be dying is unclear but he will be in the film for more than 10 minutes it would seem.
